Mark Randall DeVane, 39, of St. Augustine, died Aug. 13, 2006, at Transylvania Community Hospital in Brevard, N.C. Mr. DeVane was a native of Jacksonville and had resided in St. Augustine most of his life. Mr. DeVane was a graduate from St. Augustine High School in 1985. After graduation he served his country in the U.S. Army and later in the Army Reserves. Mr. DeVane was a graduate of Daytona Beach Community College in 1993 with a degree in nursing and was currently employed with CNS Healthcare. Mr. DeVane was a deacon and active member of Ancient City Baptist Church.

Survivors: His wife, Leigh Ann DeVane (who was  also in the class of 1985) and one son, Jesse DeVane
